Requirements: -Project proposal or plan to determine time frames, funding
limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing
requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of
the project. -Overall scheduling and coordination activities, including the logic of the scheduling, contract compliance, quality control, and safety management. -Oversee life cycle of the procurement, construction operations and completion of the project. -Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of a project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. -Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, scope of authority, and to provide technical direction and resolve issues. -Direct and coordinate the activities of the project personnel to ensure the projects continuous progress on schedule and within budget. -Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required. -Prepare project progress reports for management, clients or others. -Coordinate project requirements with Governmental or other regulatory agencies. -Accountable for financial success of projects including: cost analysis and forecasting, contract and fiscal negotiations, cash flow and the payment application process. -Accountable for relationships between owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors. -Accountable for writing scope of work for subcontractors and negotiating terms. -Provide overall leadership for the project team: owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and vendors. -Mentor newer staff members, through training and talent development, to increase their potential for success on their chosen career path. -Ability to set up schedule of values and administer payment process -Monitor and control work-in-place quality requirements during all phases of construction. -Manage collection of payments from owners and subcontractors, and supplier payment procedures through staff. -Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
4 year construction related degree or equivalent technical training and a minimum of 5 years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
